Marketing research showed customers are not willing to test eye drops if not offered from qualified experts. To overcome this fact, roll-ups were positioned in pharmacies where promoters asked customers to look at an optical illusion that automatically irritates and stresses‘ the eye. Afterwards the customers were more willing to test the soothing eye drops.
